Man, it really is funny. Although people say they don't believe in Santa after the age of 10, how it is so embarrassing and blah blah blah... that's not true. How do I know that?
$0 theft in December.
January: $37. And it's all people way over the age to believe in Santa People are on their best behavior during the holidays because they know Santa is on the way. It's all out the door the rest of the year!
Thankfully, the location's manager has my back. I'm going to chock it up to new people at a job, thinking they're slick.
While I know people will say, "See!!! This is why we can't trust smart coolers!"
Hold your horses. I've made $5k this month already in revenue. That's less that 1% theft. And because of my cost of goods, I'm losing less than $15 of actual profit.
So just to give people a little perspective. Can it happen that the they take more than pre-authorization? Yes. And you can either raise pre-authorization, or have a kick ass relationship with their managers. I do both (raise pre-auth for my public facing machines, and my breakrooms just need to reset expectations).
